The Mind Bender is an ode to my two main influences growing up surfing the waves at Malibu, Surfrider Beach, Mr. Lance Carson, and Josh Farberow. The lessons learned under the tutelage of Josh and the countless hours studying the noseriding lines of Lance led me to a fusion of curves and a new aspect of my surfing that I hadn't experienced since my youth. This shape incorporates a mild continuous "California Rocker" with a rounder and more 50/50 rail than my other designs, a subtly rolled bottom deep spoon concave, and a denser green blank. If you're searching for a board to connect the dots from A to Z on your favorite point waves, with tons of drive through the turns and fast noseriding experience, this could become your new sweetheart.
